Reverend Michael Danaher

Parish Priest

Reverend Michael was ordained a deacon in the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne on 6 February 2016, and was ordained to the priesthood on 26 November 2016. Michael is married and has three adult children and six grandchildren. He enjoys listening to music, with his favourite artists including The War on Drugs, Kings of Leon, Coldplay, John Mayer, The Eagles, America, Pink Floyd and Mark Knopfler. He enjoys playing the guitar (not as well as he would like), and his guitar heroes are David Gilmour and Mark Knofler.

Having played competitive tennis for sixteen years in his younger days, he enjoys playing doubles with his sons and a longtime friend whenever time permits. He loves watching the AFL, and is a member of the Carlton Football Club.
